Nowadays, solar energy is the most economical form of electricity, the process for producing solar energy is to install a solar system where ever you want to.

As we all know, solar lights environmentally friendly lighting without electricity costs.


Question 1: What is solar lights?

Solar lights use solar cells to convert sunlight into electricity, and the electricity is stored in batteries for use at night. Solar light, also known as a solar lamp or a solar lantern, is a solar lighting system, composed of an LED lamp, solar panels, battery, charge controller and there may also be an inverter. The light operates on electricity from batteries, charged through the use of a solar photovoltaic panel.

Simply to say, the solar lighting system converts sunlight into electricity, which makes lights be on without electricity costs.

The most important part of a solar light is the photovoltaic or solar cell. 

The solar cell is the part that converts sunlight into direct electrical current. 

You can clearly see the solar cell as a dark panel at the top of a solar light.

Solar LED lights, like other solar devices, operate efficiently by harnessing sunlight. These are off-grid systems and come with incorporated battery technology. 

Here's a breakdown of their operation:

1. Absorption: During the day, photovoltaic cells in the lights absorb solar energy.

2. Conversion: These cells convert the absorbed solar energy into electrical energy. This happens when solar energy pushes negatively-charged electrons into positively-charged spaces within the cells.

3. Storage: The converted electrical energy (direct current) is stored in batteries.

4. Usage: At night, when sunlight is absent, photoreceptors detect the low light levels and trigger the battery to power the LED lamp.
